Heritage Park of North Iowa to make sorghum syrup

FOREST CITY, Iowa – Heritage Park of North Iowa will make another batch of sorghum syrup on Saturday, Sept. 28, starting at 8 a.m. Rain date will be Sunday, Sept. 29. Come to observe or help and learn about the process. There is no charge.

Making sorghum syrup is something Heritage Park does as part of its Steam Threshing Festival, which was held earlier in September.

Heritage Park’s main entrance is near the intersection of B14 and U.S. Highway 69. GPS coordinates: 1811 Sage Court.
