Courthouse MIS Director now charged with felony stalking

MASON CITY – A Cerro Gordo County courthouse employee who is on unpaid administrative leave from his job as MIS director due to a domestic abuse charge is now facing a felony charge of stalking.

Records show that Scott A. Tepner, 45, is a defendant in a valid protective order as a result of a domestic incident at the 1600 block of North Hampshire Avenue on March 21st.  Tepner will go on trial for the domestic abuse charge on August 27th at 9 AM.

According to Mason City police, “the protected party reported that from June 28, 2013 to July 24,2013, Tepner has either driven out of his way to go by her house and / or follow her around town. This has allegedly occurred multiple times. The investigating officer recently filed for an arrest warrant on Aug 15 charging Tepner with Stalking. Tepner turned himself in on the warrant on Aug 16, 2013.”

Tepner posted a bond and was released.

    The MIS position at Cerro Gordo County was a top notch position paying big bucks – like $80,000 or so.

    1. Oops, meant to say “always liked you”.
