MASON CITY – Details are still emerging after a man was arrested this evening in Mason City after a brief standoff with police.
So far, what is known is that an African-American male was inside a house at 521 5th Street SE and refused to come out. His age and name were not immediately available. The house is owned by Randy Klemesrud of Mason City. The man was taken into custody from the back entrance of the house in the alley after Mason City police officers in battle gear surrounded the premises with their guns drawn.
Mason City police and other local law enforcement agencies blocked nearby intersections. Neighbors and onlookers crowded the area, trying to get a glimpse of the action.

Just another import from somewhere else that has invaded our town. When are we going to have enough of this crap and do something about it.
Where do these people?, come from. Mason City never had people? like this. Do the real citizens of Mason City a favor, and go back to where you came from. Unfortunately there are to many laws that protect the vermin, and more being made everyday.
There will a deal made so he can walk the streets selling his shit and beating women. Whats 14 charges I bet a slap on the hands and a date with Judge Weiland. POS
unfortunate that it ended with no shot fired to this POS’s temple, no I am not racist I wish this to all the scum around here its getting to thick….
Yes, to hell with due process of law, just shoot the buggers.
Now what happens when it is your turn? Will you scream for your constitutional rights, or should they be ignored? Whats good for the goose, is also good for the gander, no?
I think the most painful part of this video, was the annoying voice of that female narrating the commercial. Seriously????
