North Korea claims U.S. launches spy satellites

Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) — Recently, U.S. Air Force launched small unmanned spacecraft in Florida State.

Rodong Sinmun Thursday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The U.S. keeps the mission of the spaceship in top secrecy though it launches spy satellites unhindered. It is easy to guess that the spaceship has military task that may draw worldwide criticism such as the destruction of satellites of other countries as reported by CNN.

The U.S. imperialists have long sought the ambition to militarize space and provoke a space war.

The U.S. launch of the small spacecraft for military purposes is quite contrary to international law on peaceful use of space.

It is an illegal act violating international space law which calls for using space for the promotion of the well-being of humankind. It is also a grave challenge to the people’s desire.

Most countries in the world strongly demand the space powers strictly abide by international space law and take policies for use of outer space for non-military purposes.

The U.S. launch of the spaceship is a dangerous act of swimming against the trend of the times. While launching space weapons for aggression, genocide and destruction at will in disregard of international law, the U.S. incriminates the DPRK’s launch of satellite for peaceful purposes. The U.S. ruling quarters are so impudent and outrageous.

Its brigandish logic can never work on the DPRK.

The U.S. had better roll back its criminal space war scenario before taking issue with others.
