On August 4, 2012 at approximately 8:41 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Locust Street reference a disorderly conduct report. Prior to arrival information was received that a subject had been stabbed during this incident.
While on scene Officers located a female that had been stabbed. The injuries sustained by the victim were not considered to be life threatening.
A short time later the suspect, Dena Brooks, age 38, was located in the area.
Brooks was later charged with Willful Injury and transported to the Black Hawk County Jail.
A photo of Brooks will not be released at this time, pending further investigation.
