At approximately 1338 hrs, on August 3rd, 2012, officers of the Waterloo Police Department were sent to the area of the 300 block of Allen Street, on a reported shooting. The following individuals were injured during this incident
Malik Calhoun, age 17, Lakeem Calhoun, age 19, and Dashawn Marks, age 19, all of Waterloo
As a result of this investigation the following individuals have been charged.
Jared Even Brooks, age 18, of Waterloo
Three (3) counts of Wilful Injury, a Class C Felony, Iowa Code section 708.4
One (1) count of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, a Class C Felony, Iowa Code section 708.6
One (1) count of Going Armed with Intent, a Class D Felony, Iowa Code section 708.8
One (1) count of Carrying Weapons, an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Iowa Code section 724.4
Anthony Terrell Jacobs, age 18, of Waterloo
One (1) count of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, a Class C Felony, Iowa Code section 708.6
One (1) count of Possession of Marijuana, a Serious Misdemeanor, Iowa Code section 124.401(5)(m)
The investigation is ongoing and no mugshots will be released until a later date.
