MASON CITY – Courtney Wolfe of Mason City and James Keane of New Hampton have been announced as the winners of North Iowa Area Community College’s Extreme Makeover: College Edition.
Wolfe and Keane will receive free NIACC tuition plus textbooks and more for the 2012-13 school year. Wolfe plans to enter the nursing program and Keane wants to become a fourth grade teacher.
The other three finalists — Kimberly Brandau, Osage; Dana Greensky, Buffalo Center; and Christina Gnaidy, Buffalo Center — will receive $1,000 scholarships to NIACC.
