MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Supervisors met Tuesday morning and picked up on a safety issue.  They moved ahead with a recommendation to close the southwest door to the courthouse to the public and allow only employees or other officials to use the door with a card swipe that will be installed later.

They also considered an urban renewal plan for the county, granted a beer permit for Clear Lake Boats and heard  a road report from the county engineer.
