The elderly woman had then reportedly got out of her car and walked over to a white Cadillac, which was nearby and got into it.

At the scene, the woman was back in her red car, sitting on the passenger’s side. A neighbor of the lady was there to help. She talked to her for a bit, then called out to an officer saying, “She has a bloody lip.”

A police officer made a gesture of acknowledgement to the friend. They had already called for medical help. With some encouragement, the lady was taken to Mercy Hospital by ambulance.

After giving his report, a manager of HyVee said, “She didn’t do any damage, no damage done.”
