Mason City Police got ahold of Dr. Jeff Cornick. He informed them that he would call one of his employees to come up to the hospital.

Upon arrival, you can see that the big picture window in front of the building was shattered. Broken glass was lying on the sidewalk in front, almost going in the street. The storm window, behind, was not broken.

Mason City Police officer and Pioneer Employee said there was no evidence of anyone getting in.

“Luckily, we don’t have any animals in here for the weekend, just the ones that live here,” says the employee. “but, I’m sure they were pretty scared.”

Mason City police are investigating to determine exactly when the vandalism took place.

Anyone with information should call the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636.
