PLYMOUTH, IOWA – Today at 2:50 PM, Worth County requested Mason City Ambulance, Plymouth EMT and Helicopter for one vehicle accident with 4 subjects in the vehicle.
At least one person was injured.
NorthIowaToday.com was told “AirMed was dispatched to an accident resulting in serious injury one fourth of mile south of Hwy 9 on Raven Avenue on Saturday afternoon. A 19-20 year old female was said to have head trauma after being ejected from the back seat of the Jeep. She was airlifted by AirMed at 3:23 pm. There were four people in the jeep at the time at the accident. The others were taken by Ambulance.”
A witness said “A lady asked a police officer at the scene if anybody had died. He answered, ‘No, but it’s not looking good.'”
There was no immediate word on the identities of those involved in the accident.
