Sources have confirmed that the Cerro Gordo County Courthouse was hit once again Monday night or Tuesday morning with paintballs.

Little Caesars Pizza, 116 5th St SW # E, received a dose of paintball vandalism sometime early Monday morning. Several bright pink paintball marks were visible on the front of the store this morning.

Later today, NorthIowaToday.com sources reported that the Cerro Gordo County Courthouse also was vandalized with paintballs. These marks were the same color, bright pink, as those at Little Caesars.

These incidents followed several others reported recently in Mason City involving paintballs. The culprits appear to be more brazen than ever, actually attacking people as well as downtown public buildings and businesses.

On the evening of Oct. 2, Mason City Police officers were flagged down and a group of kids reported being shot by paintballs. The incident was reported near the 1200 block of Birch Drive in Mason City.

NorthIowaToday.com contacted the Mason City Police Department about these incidents and hopes to have more information available to the public soon.
