NORA SPRINGS, IOWA – North Iowa’s one and only juice bar was a “big success” this past weekend and there’s more to come, NIT is told.

Dale Peterson, the owner of a juice bar or entertainment “theatre” called the Pole Barn at 14 North Hawkeye in Nora Springs, told NIT that after a shaky opening night last Friday, the next night went much better.

“We had over 100 paid customers Saturday night,” Mr. Peterson said Tuesday.

He said they started out Saturday night with 3 female “entertainers”. However, two of them left early. The pair, who had “entertained” Friday night “went in the ladies room, had an argument, and left” Mr. Peterson explained.

However, one gal stuck around, and “shook it real good” on the dance walkway, as Mr. Peterson described, “and then some of the ladies in the audience got up there. It was wild! Everyone was going nuts.”

He also said that “police from a neighboring county came in” to the Pole Barn that night, in plain clothes. “They had a few beers and checked the place out. There weren’t any problems at all.”

Mr. Peterson said Thursday night will be even bigger and better.

“I plan to bring 7 or 8 girls down,” he said. “Anyone who wants to come will have a great time.”

Admission is $10 cash; beer and wine coolers are permitted.

Mr. Peterson says he is buying the building at 14 North Hawkeye on contract from a man named Kevin Wedeking of Charles City, who is a wrestling coach and industrial technology teacher.

Via social media, Mr. Wedeking may have offered some slightly inaccurate information. He said on the evening of February 18, 2016: “Just So EVERYONE Knows I sold the once Frosty Mugs Building!! and have no ties to what may be happing there! (sic).

However, Floyd county property records show that he still owns the building.

“I’m buying the building in contract,” Mr. Peterson told NIT. “I plan to pay it off as soon as I can.”

Well, I hate to say most of the info in this is bull ! And if The “Coach” has sold this building, why are the tenants still depositing their rent in the Frosty Mugs account at the Bank around the corner???? Wouldn’t they be paying the sleeze bag downstairs?

I have friends that went Saturday. There was only one girl and she only danced part of the time. He kept saying more girls would come in 10 minutes. A few hrs later, a few showed up and left right away. Are there going to be any white girls employed there?

Nora Springs should welcome and support any and all business. Heck, I don’t even live near Nora Springs and I will definitely be there to show my support.

The Pole Barn. hahahahaha. When the ladies aid society picket these places they are more like The Hog Shed. Oink!

What a liar!! 100 paying customers, ya right! There were hardly 3 cars at one time at that place and two of them belong to tenants that live upstairs. He is just trying to get people through the door because he gets FREE publicity from people like NIT, KIMT and anyone else that will run their mouth via Social Media. If everyone would stop and act like this is just a fad it will blow over like all of his businesses have in Iowa. I give it 2 months tops and will be the first to admit I was wrong if it does succeed. What a joke!! Not to mention by the looks of those couches you’d be most likely to contract some sort of bed bug. Good luck to all the patrons who enter, you might want to check your health after visiting!!!

i was there saturday and can confirm it was packed thru the night. people were parked on both sides, and people came and went. he is lying about other things int he article, including the girls in the audience getting on stage and the crowd going wild. more like the crowd went Mild.

I live in Nora Springs n Friday night might of had 10 cars including 3 that rent apts uptown n saturday was even deader up there!! Never more then 7-8 vehicles n 3 live there!! So 100 patrons is a far cry!!! Free publicity for a Trash Hole!!
