OSAGE – A Floyd, Iowa man who was charged after allegedly sending obscene material to a teen through his phone has been sentenced to probation, a fine and hefty court fees.
Patrick Allen Connerley, age 33, was arrested in late February of this year after law enforcement went to his home in Floyd with a search warrant. He was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor; enticing a minor under the age of 16; and telephone dissemination of obscene material to a minor. He allegedly sent obscene material to a teen girl.
After a guilty plea in May, in which all charges were thrown out except sexual exploitation of a minor, Connerly was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence of up to ten years, fined $250, and ordered to pay $4,430 in court fees. He must also serve 5 years of probation.
