Mason City police told NIT that on Monday, May 4 at 3:48 PM, a resident in the 300 block of South Indiana reported that he had broken up a group of juveniles that had been fighting in the area. Officers arrived a few minutes later but the group was gone.
At 4:47 PM, a fight was reported to have occurred in East Park between 3 juvenile females. Two juvenile females, Brooke Francis and Selena Huerta, were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and released to their parent(s). Charges are pending on a 3rd juvenile female.
At 5:22 PM, an assault was reported to have occurred in West Park involving juvenile females.
The cases are still under investigation, police said, and more charges could be filed.
