MASON CITY – Two Mason City men were arrested after a traffic stop this week.
Tevin Ray Brinson, 19, and Alexander Lee Bales, 18, were arrested after an investigational traffic stop on January 6th. At least 6 Mason City police officers responded, and according to records, at least one officer was injured during the arrests. Mason City police did not immediately respond to requests for information on the injury.
Bales was charged with interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor. He posted $300.00 cash bond and was released on January 7th. He must appear in court on January 16th.
Brinson was charged with interference with official acts causing bodily injury, a simple misdemeanor. He posted $200.00 (10%) cash bond on January 7th. Court records indicate court dates set for January 11th and another for January 18th.

These two young me both were pretty good athletes for Newman and Mason City, Looks like they must of chose the easy way out and turned to drugs and booze. Good luck boys, maybe you will learn that there are other things in life to have fun with.
