That’s funny LVS LAST I HEARD Iowa was moving to allow medical cannabis. It’s not much but it’s a start. It’s you LVS and creeps like you who are going the way of the dinosaur.

Many conservatives use marijuana and other drugs and support legalization but are concerned how they will be judged and taken to task if they do so in the open. Tolerance and understanding will go a long way in making everyone happy. The Mayor and Max Weaver set a good example with the civilized conversation they had. Don’t judge as you may be judged as well. Turn the other cheek; people may surprise you with friendliness and compassion.

They are so STUPID. They just never learn. Brain dead, pot heads.

It’s society that isn’t learning. You mean throwing people in jail for drugs hasn’t stopped the drug problem? All drugs need to be legalized, and by all I mean all of them. Tax them, educate people on their side effects, provide treatment for those who become addicted with proceeds from the sale / taxation. People will always do drugs, the drug problem is how society deals with them.

@Left=Glad you left. We have enough bran dead pot heads without you.

Why are they giving pot to people with brain injuries? Your old stereotyping is like calling black people the N word.

I’m guessing you’re old and uneducated, based on your position on the subject and the grammar and spelling in your posts. Both of these things are good because you’ll soon be gone, along with the rest of the old and dying with your outdated opinion. Good riddance to you as well.

Mason City is a drying up pond. Soon folks like LVS will be flopping around in the mud.

@Left-and we are glad you did. The last I heard smoking pot was still illegal in Iowa. And, I would certainly put my education and life experience up against your’s any time. Did you ever hear of a typo. Of course anyone as “BRAIN DEAD” as you wouldn’t know the difference.

Yup. Everybody who smokes pot is brain dead. I almost guarantee you have crossed paths with many successful people throughout your life that toked up on occasion or even daily. People like you who generalize everything are a problem. All old people are stuck in the past and mean wrinkle faced racists. Geez, look I can make stupid ass generalizations as well.

@BrunoMars-Not to worry as you are a STUPID ASS GENERALIZATION. It is a damn good thing us OLD FOLKS are here to pay taxes for worthless, brain dead leeches like you pot heads.

Well I hate to burst your bubble. But I have a full time job. Go to college full time. Pay taxes just like you. Pay all my bills. Own my car. Etc.. Do I need to keep going? I enjoy puffing on some green every now and then but I guess that makes me a brain pot head loser. You’re hilarious.

@BrunoMars-Good for you. I am glad you have a job and are going to college. Now if you would just give up a habit that does nothing but poison and enslave people you would be better off. I have no problem at all with using marijuana for medical purposes as most of our drugs come from natural sources. I have a real problem with something that enslaves people and especially our youth. I have had my tools stolen several times and we can’t leave anything of value outside (such as decent yard…

I’d like to add I have no problem with older folk. I enjoy the company of them. I enjoy learning from them. But not all old people are like you. I am 29. Not old but not a teenager. You should know by now gramps that making broad generalizations like that aren’t usually true. Millions of people smoke pot. I bet a small amount of them actually cause any sort of trouble. I would think with all of your time on this Earth you would be a bit more wise.

Wish I would think these comments all the way through before I hit the send button. But I would be glad to pay taxes on the marijuana I purchase as well if it were legal. Legalizing and taxing marijuana could solve a lot of this countries money problems. But instead let’s let the violent drug dealers make the money and run freely to live like kings while people like you and I actually have to work for our money.

Age does not necessarily beget wisdom.

I believe that I shall get some popcorn, sit back and munch on it while LVS gets taken to task.

Good post/comments Bruno… this from a “chronologically challenged” fellow in his 60’s.

I am another of the over 60 crowd who also agrees with what you are saying. I know a lot of people who are ‘brain dead’ not because of what they smoke, but because their minds don’t progress and they refuse to accept that there are things in this world that are not always black and white. And you can find those people in all age groups.

Of course all of the liberals support drug use. It is how they enslave the population. They can make any excuse or smart ass answer they want and it changes nothing. Anyone who gets caught time after time with illegal drugs (especially carrying them on their person) is STUPID. I stand behind my statement. And, at 29 years old you still have a lot of learning to do.
