MASON CITY – A local business owner says his tattoo shop was broken into Monday night … and he wants clues that will help catch the culprit.
According to Don Murl, owner of Body Graphix Inc., located at 528 North Monroe Avenue, his shop was burglarized Monday night.
Mr. Murl is offering a reward of “$500 cash to whoever helps me find” the person(s) responsible.
He said he will not be alerting police.
“I will not get cops involved,” Mr. Murl stated. He said some of the items taken were: a Nook color tab black with blue rubber case, a Toshiba laptop, an Acer tablet, three Xbox 360s and a lemon aid cross 3″x 2″ pendant. He also said a new security system is being installed “today”.
The property is owned by Jeff and Jessica Tierney.

It really doesn’t matter what he had in there, what matters is someone entered without Mr. Murls permission. Its too bad he wasn’t in there when who ever broke in and he shot the culprits dead. Could of saved a lot of stuff and $500.00.
This doesn’t surprise me at all. That area is getting very rough.
I don’t believe he had all that stuff stolen. Who leaves such things laying in a tattoo shop that has a back entrance facing away from houses and out of plain view like that? I worked for the previous owners when it was a consignment shop. It’s a glorified garage lol.

Just for your info he did have them things stolen!! Not smart huh why did you have a little involvement, hmmm! The consignment shop, was that an empty store? I think not. Why would there be a consignment shop with a bunch of items just laying around with a back entrance as you stated!! Wow that’s just crazy, whatever! Love how you talk behind a screen however!!
