Tattoo parlor owner offers reward for tips leading to capture of burglars

MASON CITY – A local business owner says his tattoo shop was broken into Monday night … and he wants clues that will help catch the culprit.

According to Don Murl, owner of Body Graphix Inc., located at 528 North Monroe Avenue, his shop was burglarized Monday night.

Mr. Murl is offering a reward of “$500 cash to whoever helps me find” the person(s) responsible.

He said he will not be alerting police.

“I will not get cops involved,” Mr. Murl stated. He said some of the items taken were: a Nook color tab black with blue rubber case, a Toshiba laptop, an Acer tablet, three Xbox 360s and a lemon aid cross 3″x 2″ pendant. He also said a new security system is being installed “today”.

The property is owned by Jeff and Jessica Tierney.
