CORALVILLE – Steven DeWayne Daniels, an inmate assigned to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center (IMCC), died Wednesday January 8, 2014 in the IMCC Hospice Care Medical Unit.
Daniels died of natural causes due to liver failure.
Daniels was 62 years old and serving a sixty year sentence from Keokuk County for Attempt to Commit Murder, Burglary First Degree, Terrorism, Assault While Participating in a Felony and Receiving, Transporting and Possession of Firearm by Felon. This sentence began on October 9, 1997.
