Dimensional Graphics set to expand, add jobs

Adam Gold, President of Dimensional Graphics, works in his office with CIO Jeremy Latham.

MASON CITY – Dimensional Graphics Corporation, of Mason City, was recently awarded $115,000 in NIACOG RLF funding.

Established in 1987, the Dimensional Graphics Corporation, located at 325 North Jackson Avenue,  began as an industrial screenprinter of OEM decals, LED faceplates, and pressure-sensitive, die-cut products. Over the years, the company has made several strategic acquisitions to enhance their company and provide more products for their customers.

As a result of the NIACOG RLF funding, Dimensional Graphics Corporation will acquire the assets of Academy Looseleaf & Bindery of Nashville, Tennessee. With the addition of the newly acquired machinery, Dimensional Graphics will be able to add another product to their line, turned edge manufacturing, and also add 20-25 jobs.

“Over the past three years, manufacturing jobs have left our community. We are very excited to bring twenty or more jobs back,” said Adam Gold, president of Dimensional Graphics.

This was the first award made from NIACOG’s loan pool of $460,000, established by a $400,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Development Administration and a $60,000 local match from the Iowa Economic Development Authority. The NIACOG RLF was established to provide a public financing tool to enhance business assistance programs and services to businesses and communities in the NIACOG region.

How can you call this wonderful news?? Are you nuts?? Mr. Gold is only looking out for himself. Do you know of anyone that has ever worked for him?? He only hires people that need to get out of BeJe Clark and treat them like slaves because he knows that they need the job to leave the facility. The goverment gives him a kick back on the people that he hires from there, so that way he only has to pay a percentage of their wages.

Think again about wonderful news for Mason City!!!!

This is wonderful news. This company is pro-Mason City and pro-North Iowa. This is more than simply expanding a current business or moving to a larger building. This is bringing jobs here, that would have been elsewhere. Dimensional Graphics should be applauded.

These are great jobs! Every job created in this town spurs more employees in other business’s that support them, sell products and service to them and help pay property taxes.

How is that a negative sjsvtx1300? I don’t care if this is a minimum wage job, (and I am sure it isn’t.) Every Job is important in Mason City. 20 new positions, I say good work Dimensional!

Too bad the jobs will only be low paying jobs for the labor employees

A job is a job, and for every job there is someone who needs it. It will make a difference in the lives of 20 people.
