Ronald “Ronnie” Eugene Woolery, "Skin Tight", 75, passed away on Saturday January 28, 2023 in his Mason City, IA home.

Ronald “Ronnie” Eugene Woolery, “Skin Tight”, 75, passed away on Saturday January 28, 2023 in his Mason City, IA home.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00am on Friday February 10, 2023 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA, with Reverend Canon officiating. Inurnment will be held in Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, IA.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday February 10, 2023 prior to the Celebration at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel.

Ronnie was born on July 6, 1947, the son of William and Lilly (Anderson) Woolery of Mason City, IA. After graduating from Mason City High School he worked at Central States Auto Auction while attending college to receive training to become an electrician.

He met and married Mary 1966, and together they had three children. Ronnie moved to Glendale, Arizona where he continued his career as an electrician. Eventually he began working for UPS and not long after was able to successfully retire. Wanting to be closer to family, Ronnie returned to Mason City, IA four years ago.

Ronnie was a hard worker and he also liked to party hard. He lived life to the fullest and loved every minute of it. Ronnie didn’t care about materialistic things; he was more focused on the memories in the making.

Those left to cherish memories of are his children, Ronald Jr. (Jennifer) Woolery, Alonzo Woolery, Ramona Woolery, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; siblings, Veronica (Willie), Barbara (Reid) Brown, Michael Woolery (Mattie) Wallace Woolery, Linda Woolery, Judy (Gregory) Johnson, Charles (Ronna) Woolery, and Ernest Woolery; lifelong companion, Robin
McKenzie. As well as countless nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Ronnie is preceded in death by both of his parents; Lilly and William Woolery; Grandparents Anita and Leonard LaFrance. Siblings William Jr. Woolery, Thomas Woolery, and Robert Woolery; and sister in-law Mattie; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
