SAC CITY – An Northern Iowa man is behind bars after he was arrested and charged with attempted murder connected to a stabbing in Sac City.
On December 23, 2019 at approximately 11:50 PM, the Sac City Police Department responded to the 500 Block of South 13TH Street in Sac City, Iowa for a report of a stabbing. On scene, officers found a 35-year-old male laying on the ground with a stab wound. The suspect, Dalton Goodman of Storm lake, Iowa, was immediately taken into custody . The 35 year old male was transported to Loring Hospital in Sac City, Iowa and was later life flighted with life treating wounds.
Goodman was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, a Class “B” Felony. Goodman was booked into the Sac County Jail and is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
Assisting the Sac City Police Department was the Lake View Police Department, The Sac County Sheriff’s Department, and the Sac County Ambulance Service.
Why carry a knife or gun if you are not willing to use it. After which you land your ass in prison. Weapons are for the weak. Use your head. Think.
