On November 4, 2019 at 8:37 a.m. the Albert Lea Police Department was advised that one of the residents in the area located several shell casings and also located damage to the neighbor’s shed that may have been caused by a bullet.

The reporting party turned the shell casings over to the officer and showed the officer the damage to the neighbor’s shed. The shell casings were located on Eighth Street near the intersection of Frank Hall Ave. The damaged shed was located in the 1400 Block of Frank Hall Ave. The majority of the damage was determined to have been caused by means other than a bullet. On one section of the particulate wood siding, damage was located that may be consistent with a bullet but an actual cause remains undetermined.
