Guatemalan man living in Charles City sentenced to prison for illegally reentering the United States

CHARLES CITY – A Guatemalan man living in Charles City has been sentenced to prison for illegally reentering the United States.

A man who illegally returned to the United States after being deported was sentenced today to more than two months in federal prison.

Gumersindo Ventura-Diaz, age 31, a citizen of Guatemala illegally present in the United States and residing in Charles City, Iowa, received the prison term after an April 22, 2019, guilty plea to one count of illegal reentry into the United States.

At the guilty plea, Ventura-Diaz admitted he had previously been deported from the United States in November 2012 and illegally reentered the United States without the permission of the United States government. Ventura-Diaz was found by immigration agents in March 2019 after he was charged in Floyd County, Iowa, with driving without a license.

Ventura-Diaz was sentenced in Cedar Rapids by United States District Court C.J. Williams. Ventura-Diaz was sentenced to 71 days’ imprisonment. He must also serve a one-year term of supervised release after the prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.

Ventura-Diaz is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be turned over to immigration officials.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel C. Tvedt and investigated by Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations.

Wow he got a free meal and a roof over his head just what he wanted.

WHAT? COOOOOOOL!!!!!!! We get to pay for his food and lodging now. that doesnt defeat the purpose at all. the point is that illegals are a drain on society, therefore the solution can not be to put them in prison and ensure they are draining money out of american pockets. just execute them. or send them home with two broken legs or make mexico pay for their incarceration. doesnt matter if they are mexican or honduran or el salvadorian mexico didnt catch them before they got here so mexico should pay for their prison time, not us. how many mexicans do i have to pay for before i own one? heres another idea, we invade south america and hold it as a territory everyone gets a new record and vetted properly everyone gets innocullated properly everyone gets basic needs taken care of intitially. we invade and we kill everyone in mexicos police/military we slaughter their entire government we kill anyone with cartel ties we make 0ur way south and start shooting anyone with an ms13 tat or violent record. we stop worrying about immigration at that point because people wont need to flee from violence. its astonishing we dont send some troops down to mexico, how many innocent heads need to be laid out on the ground minus the body they belong on before we decide we need to take action? we been playing in the sandbox for so many years we forgot that violent psychotics can rule and ruin in any part of the world. we need to go to war with south america.

We should negotiate an agreement with some warlord in some a state like Libya, to take repeat illegal entrants like this at the price of, say, $5k a cabeza. Don’t ask don’t tell what happens to them kind-of-deal. Handcuff them, stick a sedative suppository up their culo, a hood over their head, and an adult diper. Fill up a c-130 with them and off they go, never to bee seen in America again. ¡Vaya con Dios pendejos!
