FORT DODGE – A paroled man is accused of assaulting a woman “throughout the morning” in Fort Dodge Monday morning and is now behind bars.
On June 17, 2019, at approximately 7:25 A.M., the Webster County Telecommunications Center received a 911 call from a female at 410 N 10th Street indicating that a male was going to harm her. Fort Dodge Police responded to the scene where they located the female in the alleyway who stated a male, identified as 35-year-old Carlos A. Perry of Fort Dodge, was inside the residence and had physically assaulted her throughout the morning. The female was transported to Unity Point — Trinity Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Officers on scene then attempted to locate and speak with Mr. Perry. They were able to make contact with him at the residence, but Mr. Perry refused to come outside. After approximately four hours of communications between Mr. Perry and officers, he exited his residence and was taken into custody without further incident.
Perry is currently being held in the Webster County Jail on the following charges:
• Domestic Assault Impeding Air/Blood Flow Causing Bodily Injury — D Felony
• Harassment 1st Degree — Aggravated Misdemeanor
• False Imprisonment — Serious Misdemeanor
• Outstanding Arrest Warrant for Violation of Parole
