RURAL WORTH COUNTY – A flower delivery man from Arkansas was stopped in With county, and the lawman discovered a jar full of weed and a loaded handgun.
On May 28, 2019 at approximately 1943 hours a Deputy with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a Bonnie’s Plants delivery truck at the intersection of Highway 65 and 440th for no rear registration plate and a tip that an occupant of the vehicle had a strong odor of marijuana coming from or about their person.
Upon approaching the vehicle, the deputy observed a strong odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. A subsequent search yielded a mason jar full of a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana with an odor of marijuana, a one-hitter commonly used for smoking marijuana with an odor of burnt marijuana, and a .380 handgun with a fully loaded clip.
As a result of the stop, 27 year old Codie St John of Arkansas was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 33 year old Rutherford Wilson, also of Arkansas, was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying Weapons.
St John has since bonded out of jail and awaits a court appearance.

trump wants a second term he should consider federqally decriminalizing marijuana. anyone who wants to be president for sure would just make it legal on a federal level. this guys life is over for no reason, had he a loaded pistol and seventeen cases of whiskey hed be fine. booze ruins lives. its kind of stupid to have states where its totally legal and than still have federal laws concerning firearms and marijuana. technically I bet a good chunck of Colorado is in violation of federal law right now with guns and pot. its 2019, cant we just admit that marijuana is the absolute least of our worries? hell in our little state we have had deaths from heroin and phyntanol or whatever its called. we have illegal immigrants murdering little girls, we have human trafficking and prostitution. we have drive by shootings in mason city. we have real problems. a stoned florist who is carryin a gun because hes out of state and interested in self defense isn’t exactly a hardened violent criminal, why are we wasting resources on things that are victimless? its purely a waste of time money and effort to be busting people over a plant hats is legal in half or more of the states in this country. if the government worked for the people like the lie claims, weed would have been legal in the entire country years ago. it just doesn’t make sense anymore to act like the majority of the country is somehow wrong.
