Wanted Kensett man flees police as warrant served; woman lies to protect him

KENSETT –

On April 12, 2019, a deputy with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve civil papers at a residence in Kensett.  The individual who was to be served the civil papers also had outstanding warrants from both Worth and Cerro Gordo County. When the deputy was pulling up to the property, the male subject, identified as 39-year-old Jesse Varner, quickly ran into the residence. A search warrant was applied for to go into the residence to arrest Varner on his warrants. Kacey Olson, age 23, was also in the residence and said Varner was not there. Varner was located and placed under arrest.   Both Varner and Olson were charged with interference with official acts.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Manly Police Department, Michelle County Sheriff’s Office K9, Iowa State Patrol, and Northwood Rescue.

to bad this varner piece of shit isnt dead or in prison already. poor girls got a meth addiction and its probably 100% his fault im sure he was banging her too. what a gross waste of a person, varner was never a person and could use a bullet to the head.
