You would think that charges would be severe because of his recklessness and more than likely intoxication. Bottom line, he killed someone. He deserves prison for sure.

Why isn’t Mr. Kellar in jail yet?

So what happened after the search warrant? What is the status?

Anyone complaining about this article and pictures need to shut up and quit complaining due to your emotions. It’s time everyone realizes this is an actual news source like any other. They will report the news, including pictures if they have them just like any other news source. They report on news/incidents, they do not report according to others emotions.

Shawn true was a very nice lady, and had young children. Very sad to hear about this. Prayers for the fami!y.

Were they wearing helmets?

Really, peter.

Alcohol, speed, and HD’s don’t mix.

Maybe drugs should be added to the list also.

This is to all the idiots who are ranting and raving on facebook and nit fb about NIT posting pictures of the accident. First off, not one of these idiots on fb are complaining about how the driver of the motorcycle was most likely drunk and made the fatal decision to speed excessively in a residential area WITH a passenger on the back of his bike. Secondly, not one of these idiots give one rats ass about the lady he slammed his bike into the back of her car, how do you all think she feels. No all they care about is ranting and calling names about NIT. To all you idiots that are complaining maybe if this jackass wasn’t speeding this girl would still be alive. You people are freaking annoying.

I heard drunk driving

Drunk driving. Was the driver of the car tested along with the motorcycle driver? Both for drugs and alcohol? Driver cell phone checked also? All areas should be investigated, there could be numerous contributing factors. If alcohol played apart, did the deceased knowingly get on the motorcycle of a drunk driver? This time Who was actually driving the motorcycle at time of the accident? Is it beyond reasonable doubt that the man was driving now at the time accident occurred? Who actually SEEN the accident happen besides the people saying they “heard” a fast motorcycle? So many variables and could of, should of, would of, by all 3 parties involved. I’m sure it will take time to sort out, investigate, and charge someone if that even ends up being possible. Emotions can distract a person from the reality of this situation. God Bless everyone involved with this accident.

This may be one of the dumbest responses I have ever read on this site and that says a lot. The driver of the car was turning left, waiting for an oncoming car to pass her. Was it the man that was driving the motorcycle? Are you serious or just simply retarded. It sounds as if you have no one at home to listen to your absurdity so you type it on this site. “So many variables”? ” Reasonable doubt” that he was driving? How about proof beyond a reasonable doubt has been established that you are an idiot!

Don’t see anything dumb about the post. It actually brings up points to the case the should also be looked at. Maybe turn signal wasn’t used? Hard to see at night. Was brake lights working? Maybe driver was preoccupied with cell phone? Maybe both drivers were drunk? Maybe all 3 were drunk, who was driving the motorcycle? May or maybe not. I’m sure the police detectives will check all areas out throughly, especially if charges will be filed. So no good lawyer can pick it apart in a trial if all angles were not investigated.

fatality accidents take weeks or even months to finish up, measurements are taken with gps, witness’s have to be interviewed and a skematic of the scene needs to be drawn up and etc, there is no real hurry

I know I don’t have to look but distasteful pictures

What, are you talking about? You must see something that nobody else sees. Oh, I know, your reflection in a mirror.

It’s news. This is a news site, that reports the news along with pictures. No different then any other need source. I personally only see lights, houses, down motorcycle, I must be missing something because I don’t see a body even after enlarging the photo?

“Charges are pending”. It could take weeks or months. They will take their time and get it right. There’s no hurry.

Does anyone know if charges were ever filed in this accident?

Look at the skid marks and you should have your answer

Yes, I saw the skidmark, that is why I had asked the question about charges.

Argh, forget about the skid marks!

Who was driving the motorcycle at the time of the accident? The woman or the man?

All you have to do is read the above story to get the answer

“Brandon Kellar age 40, of Mason City, was driving a motorcycle westbound on 15th Street SE. when he struck the rear end of Pontiac G6 as it was making a left turn onto S. Pennsylvania.”

“Shawn True, age 36, of Mason City was a passenger on Kellar’s motorcycle. Ms. True was pronounced deceased at the scene.”

Is that the facts? Or is that the assumption? These details came out way before investigation. I would assume they would have to complete a through investigation. Charges filed depend on actual facts not assumptions including the car driver information if used turn signal, drunk or sober, cell phone record etc also who was actually driving the motorcycle and circumstances leading up to the accident. It will take time. Way to many variables in this to charge someone quickly do yo emotions or one variable.

^^ Those would be facts, not assumptions.

How many true Harley riders do you know that let others operate their bikes. Especially a female at 11:00 at night.

Was he a “true” Harley rider? Maybe a drunken non true Harley rider would. Would it made a difference if it was a different time of dayif she was driving? Good thing you’re not a detective. Your points are irrelevant.

That’s like saying how many true Harley riders drive their motorcycles drunk. I’m sure HARLEY riders make bad decisions too. Or does owning and driving a Harley exempt a person from stupidity?

Was he a “true” Harley rider? She was NOT, operating the motorcycle. That is an answer to a previous question. You, are irrelevant.
