CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man who was accused of raping a woman back in 2008 was able to work a plea deal in court to a lesser charge.
Eric M. Hill, age 31, was charged in a 2008 sexual incident in Charles City in which it was alleged that he used an object to threaten a women after he entered her home and then commit a sexual assault. He was charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a felony.
After a long court process, Hill was to stand a second trial this January after a jury failed to convict him this summer. However, on January 4, Hill entered a guilty plea to a lesser charge of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness and was given a deferred judgement. This sentence includes one year of probation and $1,603.91 in fines and court costs.
Someone please invite this guy into your home and shoot him. Do society a favor and get rid of his raping ass! Than invite the judge and lawyers who basically let him off in! You wonder why America has become the term and the toilet bowl!
