Theft victim seeks clues after car invasion

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman is seeking clues after a thief invaded a car.

A theft was reported to Mason City police Wednesday around 11:34 AM. According to the citizen involved, whom NIT will not name, either late Tuesday night of early Wednesday morning, a vehicle at 416 North Penn Avenue was broken into. A number of items were taken, including a large laundry bag and name brand shoes. Total loss appears to be over $500.00, as a radio valued alone at several hundred dollars was also taken.

“A clothes bag full of Menard’s work clothes, cargo shorts, black socks, underwear, dress shirts, t-shirts, casual mens clothing – missing,” the citizen tells NIT.
