Trump cruises to bigger lead over rival GOP candidates

NIT – Donald Trump is showing huge gains in a new CNN poll released this morning.

Despite headlines and social media posts from publications like the New York Times and the Des Moines Register that are less than favorable, and constant attacks from rival Republican and Democratic candidates, Donald Trump has surged ahead in the early stages of the 2016 presidential election contest – and his lead is getting bigger.

According to a CNN poll released Tuesday morning, Trump is showing a lead of 24% of GOP voters to just 13% for the next candidate, Jeb Bush. CNN says Trump has gained 6% since July, even after a “debatable” performance in the first Republican debate hosted by FOX News and even more questionable remarks he made later.

CNN reported that 58% of GOP voters now have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 50% in a survey taken in July.

Trump continues to lead the pack in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Today, the Des Moines Register posted quotes to its social media page from South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham – who is also running for President but remains a non-factor – saying “I think the more [Donald Trump] exposes himself, putting forward solutions that are unworkable, the charm begins to fade after a while when you realize there’s nothing behind the curtain.”

The story headline was “The Eventual Undoing of Donal Trump.”

Trump recently called the Des Moines Register a “non-factor” in the presidential race.

Even as the media calls for his demise, Trump leads, and has Steve King singing his praises.  He called Trump’s immigration plan released Monday “Bold, strong, positive”.

The dems are dancing in the streets.

Hopefully on their own graves.

Even Democrats are starting to realize how bad their own party has been and the failure of the party leaders. Most Democrats are turning away from Hillary Clinton. Privately I am hearing they are tired of baby killing, welfare, and their lousy record on the economy.

You are wrong. I am not a Hillary fan and I probably won’t vote for her if she gets the nomination. But, there is no way in hell I would ever vote for Trump. This man is a consummate salesman. He will sell himself as the great American savior, and then if elected, his self-serving self will slam up against the wall of career politicians in Washington and he will be the greatest failure as a president there ever was. And he will bring down all those around him as well because he has never taken blame for anything he has done. This country will be in more trouble that it has ever experienced. And you, of course, will blame President Obama.

WoW-Your description sounds just like what we think of Obama.

With the bozo we have in office, You couldn’t possibly get any worse.. The greatest failure is in office now and you probably voted for him you dummy… I hope Trump wins and takes away the government hand out you probably rely on..

It looks to me like your describing Obama.

That is exactly what obama did.

Honest politicans have short lives.
