FERGUSON, MISSOURI – The FBI is now involved in the investigation into the shooting of two police officers in the troubled town of Ferguson, Missouri Wednesday night.
The shooting of two police officers outside the Ferguson, Missouri police station sent both to a hospital with serious injuries. It was reported later Thursday that both officers were released from the hospital.
As of Thursday morning, the gunman remained at large. Evidence has been collected from the scene, where a demonstration was taking place.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that law enforcement searching for suspects in the shooting zeroed in on a house near the police station Thursday morning. Three people were seen in handcuffs.
“We were lucky by God’s grace that we didn’t lose two officers last night,” Police Chief Jon Belmar said in a press conference. “We could have buried two police officers over this. It’s a miracle we haven’t had any instances similar to this in the summer and fall.”
“Violence against police is unacceptable,” President Barack Obama said after the shooting. “Our prayers are with the officers in MO. Path to justice is one all of us must travel together.”
“Each day, our law enforcement officers risk their lives to protect the public and the fact that these officers appear to have been intentionally targeted is deeply troubling,” Missouri Governor Jay Nixon said.
Ferguson has been roiled with turmoil ever since an un-armed African-American teen, Michael Brown, was shot and killed by a police officer Darren Wilson on August 9, 2014.
No one is to blame for this, except the shooter. The police, fire, and ems personnel should all just walk off the job. Let these people fend for themselves. Maybe then, they will learn to appreciate the services the emergency personnel have been providing. There is no respect for police in Ferguson. If all of this started over a white criminal, it would be done. No protests, no rioting, no looting, AND no shooting of police officers.
The black people don’t want to be discriminated against, but some, not all, but some of them can’t and won’t break the cycle of violence, and criminalizing. And it’s those that make their entire race look bad. There are black police officers in Ferguson. So I don’t understand the mentality of some of these people. It’s time to stop using the race card. A criminal is a criminal, white, black, latino, asian, or other.

I get out a lot and I read a lot. Blaming the president and others for this is tantamount to blaming President Bush and friends for ISIS because he got us into the war by falsely claiming they had wmds which led to the inflaming of terrorists who eventually became ISIS. Read the report about Ferguson police officers and their blatant racism. That why heads are rolling in the department and in Ferguson’s city hall.
I have heard that the police department has alot of racist people in it but during an investigation it was proved that officer wilson was right and brown was wrong. It was also proved that soros has been financing the riots shipping in protesters. Shifting blame is so stupid, trying to shift it away from Ferguson to iraq is low. Why don’t we just deal with what is right in front of us, the riots and what is going on.
