MASON CITY – A Cerro Gordo county assessor was arrested for drunk driving.
Cerro Gordo county sheriff’s office confirmed that 63-year-old John Boedeker was arrested for operating while intoxicated. The arrest occurred on November 21 by a Mason City police officer.
Boedeker was jailed and posted bond and later released, pending a December 5 court appearance.
Tom Drzycimski, a county employee manager, said employees of the city or county assessor’s offices are employees of their respective conference boards and not Cerro Gordo County.
Matt, you had this before the Globe! Congrats!
They watch NIT all day long; addicted to it, they are. Refresh, refresh, refresh NIT Mr. Skipper does. I’m cool with leading all the newsrooms in North Iowa.
Probably on the way home from the Country Club. That can’t be right. Country Cluber’s get a free pass with the police.
Join the club John now its time for you to retire and enjoy the good life. How the hell does ole boozemeyer get away with being f**ked up all the time? John fight this and pay an attorney and then get the hell out of office.
I’m guessing Bookmeyer always gets a ride. It would be too much of a slap in the face to the public if he kept driving in an obvious drunken state and never got stopped. You can’t do that forever. Bet he gets lots of offers for rides or a police officer gives him a ride home. That would be public intox, though, wouldn’t it??
@JMO-I would guess his wife gives him a ride home. She is a nice lady. I guess opposites really do attract. Either that our his “B” Trout or Turncoat would taxi him home.
What the hell John, don’t you know that you are in the publics eye. Let’s be a leader, not a follower, and set a good example…
I believe he was trying to keep up with the BEERMISTER !!
He doesn’t appear to be in an alcohol-induced coma just judging from this photo so looks like the Moscow Mule got a blue ribbon in that contest.
Well cerro gordo county PAYS them and not their respective conference boards so drop the bullchit – they are county employees fact!
He was probably buying drinks for Urdahl and lost count of how many he had.
