Nancy Rae Lane, 66, of Mason City, Iowa passed away on March 20, 2026, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa. She will be laid to rest 11:00 am, Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.

Nancy Rae Lane, 66, of Mason City, Iowa passed away on March 20, 2026, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa.

She will be laid to rest 11:00 am, Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm later that day at the VFW, 1603 S Monroe Ave, Mason City, IA 50401.

Nancy was born April 3, 1959 in Mason City, the daughter of Laverne and Bonnie Reich. She attended Mason City High School. Nancy was united in marriage to Steve Lane August 25, 1979 and to this union they were blessed with three children.

Nancy was a deeply loving and devoted woman who found her greatest joy in caring for and doting on her cherished grandchildren. Time spent with her family was truly the center of her world, and she eagerly anticipated every opportunity to gather together and create lasting memories. She had a love for playing bingo, took great pleasure in crafts and home decorating, and had recently begun embracing the joy of family camping trips.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Steve; children, Steve Lane Jr., Kimberly Lane, and James “Jimmy” Lane; grandchildren, Misty, Nancy Jean, Shelby, Sheila, Lucas, Brooklyn, and Colesyn; great-granddaughter, Riley; and siblings, Steve (Brenda) Reich, Tom (Betty) Reich, Kevin Reich, and Denny Reich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Jack Reich, Sheila Reich and Gary Reich.
