Roberta Olson, 87, of Boone, went to her home in Heaven to be with her Savior on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. She was a resident at Eastern Star Masonic Home.
Roberta was born on June 29, 1938, the daughter of Robert and Martha (Baker) Maxwell. She served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1961. Roberta married Willis Olson on February 8, 2013, in California. She and Willis moved to Boone in 2017, where they became members of Berean Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Willis Olson.
Roberta is survived by her sister, Lois (Jim) Magee.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at the Eastern Star Masonic Home Chapel, 715 W Mamie Eisenhower Ave, Boone, with Pastor Roger Smith officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone.
