Richard M. Schreiner, 70, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 8, 2025. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Richard was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin on May 28, 1955 to Charles and Jeanette (Bell) Schreiner. He was married to Rhonda Panzer, and the couple later divorced. Richard moved from Wisconsin to Mason City, Iowa, and worked at Graham Manufacturing until his retirement.

Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a lifetime member of the Klondike Fox Trackers Club. He was also one of the founders of the Tappers Union, and a fan of Spike’s Tap Bar in Mason City.

Rick is survived by his siblings, Jim (Karen) Schreiner, Bob (Sharon) Schreiner, Dale (Delores) Schreiner, Pat (Sue) Schreiner, and Brenda (Tony) Schmitt; sister-in-law, Sharon Schreiner; nieces and nephews Jeff and Eric, Rhonda and Steve, Stacy and Jill, Jonathan, Brad, and Joe, Julie, Gari Lynn, and Kory and Mike; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jeanette Schreiner; brothers, Gary and Charles Schreiner Jr.; and nephew, Scott Schreiner.
