Jarrett Oscar Lee, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at the age of 91. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Born on June 6, 1934, to Oscar and Ruth Lee in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Jarrett lived a life of service, faith, and hard work. He proudly served his country as an Airman in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1960. After his military service, he dedicated many years to Homeland Security and emergency management in his hometown of Emmetsburg, Iowa—work he truly loved.

Jarrett was the kind of man who could fix or build just about anything. If something needed doing, everyone knew to “call Jarrett.” He was a man of deep faith, often found reading his Bible and sharing his wisdom with others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Lee, and his sons David Lee (Keri), Randy Lee, Perry Lee, Robert Lee (Shelly), and Taylor Henderson (Aimee); Son-in-Law Jim Briggs; his sisters Donna Mundus, Jeannine Lucy, and Wanda Lee (Jim); grandchildren Joseph Briggs (Lori), Jordan Landress (Austin), Jill Rumley (Randy), Cydnee Henderson, and Caden Henderson; and great-grandchildren JJ Briggs, Tate Briggs, Hadley Landress, Harper Landress, Rowdy Rumley, Laney Rumley, Landri Rumley, and Brighten Rumley.

He was preceded in death by his son Chuck Lee, daughter Jackie Briggs, brothers Bernard Lee and Ronald Lee, and sisters Bertha Koenck, Betty Moen, and Beverley Banwart.

Jarrett’s steady hands, strong faith, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
