Glen J. Gienau, 66, of Frederika, died Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Becker & Son Funeral Home in Tripoli. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 27, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Tripoli.

Glen Jerome, son of Louis and Doris (Godden) Gienau was born December 9, 1958, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Tripoli. Glen received his education in the Tripoli Schools and later graduated from the Peace Corps in South Dakota. He worked for many years at Hydrite Chemical in Waterloo. Glen was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church, Wapsi Sportsmen Club and A.B.A.T.E. He loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, camping, or boating.

Glen is survived by three daughters, Heidi, Haleigh and Hannah; four brothers Bruce (Linda) and Richard, all of Waterloo, Robert (Jan) of Denver and Raymond (Carla) of Rowley; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tammy Jacque.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, David, Lawrence, and Gary; niece, Amanda; and nephew, Brian, who was killed in action while serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq.
