FAYETTE COUNTY – This Northern Iowa man allegedly resisted arrest during his apprehension on warrants connected to meth possession, police say.

On August 30, 2025, at approximately 8:16 PM, a Fayette County Deputy arrested 51-year-old Travis Newell McIntyre of Eldorado, Iowa, on two active Fayette County arrest warrants for:

– Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine), a serious misdemeanor

– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor

During this arrest, McIntyre was additionally charged with Interference with Official Acts, a simple misdemeanor.

McIntyre (pictured at top) was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held.
