CHARLES CITY – A woman reported as missing to police in Charles City was later found deceased.
On the early afternoon of December 5, 2022, the Charles City Police Department took a report of a missing person from the 2100 block of Clarkvew Drive. The missing person was Angela Fogerty of Charles City. Tragically, police say she was later found deceased in the 2200 block of Clark Street.
The Floyd county sheriff’s department, fire departments from Charles City, Floyd, And Colwell and Floyd county search and rescue assisted with the incident.
