WASHINGTON, D.C. – Israel and Iran plunged into a “hot war” days ago, and then President Donald Trump decided to bring America into the fray (much to the delight of Iowa’s entire Republican Congress members) by reportedly bombing nuke sites, and after Iran weakly retaliated earlier today, a major ceasefire was announced.
Late last week, Israel attacked Iran, claiming they were close to obtaining a nuclear weapon – something Israel has a stockpile of. As the war raged and bombs fell on both nations, Presdient Donald Trump brought American firepower into the mix.
On June 21, President Donald J. Trump announced via social media:
We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
On June 23, President Donald J. Trump announced via social media:
“Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and have very effectively countered. There have been 14 missiles fired — 13 were knocked down, and 1 was “set free,” because it was headed in a nonthreatening direction. I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done. Most importantly, they’ve gotten it all out of their “system,” and there will, hopefully, be no further HATE. I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured. Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same. Thank you for your attention to this matter! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”
“CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.” This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! Senator Joni Ernst claimed, “President Trump’s goal was always peace. Thanks to his leadership, America — and the world — are safer.”
Gov. Kim Reynolds quipped, “Peace through strength! The world is safer today because of President
@realDonaldTrump’s leadership.”
Now, the World waits to see what, if any, fallout and developments take place after these events.
