MASON CITY – With warmer weather drawing outdoor enthusiasts to Iowa state parks, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reminds hikers, cyclists, and equestrians to prioritize safety and courtesy through its “Share the Trail” initiative.
Sixteen state parks and forests now feature updated signage with essential trail etiquette guidelines to promote cooperative use of multi-use trails.
