MASON CITY – The following are the expenses paid by Cerro Gordo county and Board of Supervisor meeting minutes for the period ending on December 16, 2024:

December 16, 2024
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in regular session pursuant to adjournment. Present:
Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp, Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey Callanan, and various
members of the public.
Chairperson Meacham Ginapp convened the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve today’s agenda and the minutes for the December 9, 2024 special session and the December 9, 2024 regular session. Motion passed unanimously.
Public comment session was held.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to approve claims. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve Pay Application No. 2 for Larson Contracting Central LLC for DD57 Open Channel Cleanout. Motion passed unanimously.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to certify the cost of the Garner Hayfield, Ventura, and West Fork Schools Bond Elections. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve the County Recorder’s Amended Quarterly Report of Fees.
Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve Clerk’s Monthly Report of Fees. Motion passed unanimously.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to table the consideration to video record meetings. Motion passed
unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve the Change Order for Courthouse Entry Project and
authorize the Chair to sign. Motion passed unanimously.
County Engineer Billings provided an update.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to accept the bid for the Prairie Land Trail Extension and allow the City of Mason City to construct the accepted project, complete all associated contract and construction administration, and authorize the Chair to sign an Agreement with the City stating conditions in writing. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to adjourn at 10:17 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.
