Police in Charles City scold naughty juveniles for throwing ice chunks at passing vehicles

CHARLES CITY – Police in Charles City were forced to scold some naughty juveniles for throwing ice chunks at passing vehicles.

The incident took place on the evening of Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  Police say that at about 7:33 PM, police officers were called to the 1000 block of 5th Avenue. They had taken a report that juveniles were “throwing ice chunks” at vehicles driving by. Police arrived and the juveniles fled, but fleet-footed officers stopped the lawbreakers “running from the area.” According to police, they spoke with the children about what was taking place. Then, police contacted their parents.

No arrests appear to have been made, and no details about any damages were disclosed.
