Hilton Singh Ramlakhan, 62, of Mason City, IA, passed away November 28, 2022, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City.
Hilton was born March 20, 1960, in Guyana, son of Rampersaud and Vivian (Budram) Ramlakhan. He grew up there at later moved to Canada in1989. He studied computer science there and earned his bachelor’s degree. In 2001 he moved to the U.S. Hilton was a fun loving, mischievous man. He was almost always up to something and ready for an adventure at the drop of a hat. He was a fabulous cook; his custard was a favorite of his children. Hilton loved spoiling his family with his cooking. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and could often be found singing or listening to music.
Hilton is survived by his significant other, Anne; children, Kathy, Emily, Camerin, and Jeremy; grandchildren, Sophia, Leo, and Ryker; siblings, Ventia, Sharma, and Kent; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
Hilton was preceded in death by his parents, Rampersaud and Vivian.
