MASON CITY – A woman was arrested after a Mason City stabbing incident, police say.
On May 23rd, 2021, at 7:26 p.m., Mason City Police Officers were dispatched to 324 1st SW for a subject that had been stabbed. The victim was later transported by Mason City Fire Department to Mercy One Emergency Room.
Following a criminal investigation, Arissa Ledvina, age 23, was charged with Willful Injury a class D Felony. Ledvina remains in the Cerro County Jail at this time.
The investigation into this incident is still ongoing. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact the Mason City Police Department.
