Clarksville man jailed for allegedly receiving illicit pics of children

CLARKSVILLE, IOWA – A Clarksville man has been jailed for allegedly receiving illicit pics of children.

On June 3, 2020 the Clarksville Police Department investigated the allegations of sexual exploitation of a minor. Through the course of this investigation it was discovered that Cody Blue, age 29 of Clarksville, contacted at least two minor females and received illicit pictures from them. Evidence was collected at the Blue residence in Clarksville in the execution of a search warrant. Blue was arrested and charged with Sexual exploitation of a minor – Class C Felony, and two counts of Possession of a Visual Depiction of a Minor Engaging in a Prohibited Sexual Act – Aggravated Misdemeanor.

This investigation is ongoing and the Clarksville Police are encouraging any other potential victims to contact the Police Department.
