MASON CITY – The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum is happy to announce the opening of the interactive art exhibition Everyone is a Critic 3 on Friday, November 29 at 9 a.m.  This is your third chance to tell Museum staff and other visitors what you really think about the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum’s Permanent Collection of American Art.

MacNider Art Museum

In the past the Museum hosted the exhibitions, Everyone is a Critic! and Everyone is a Critic II!  These shows were so successful we decided to host the exhibition again.  A selection of artworks from the Museum’s Permanent Collection will be on display in the Center Space Gallery.  Visitors will have the opportunity to write down their thoughts, feelings, and ideas about these pieces on comment cards.  The cards will be displayed on the gallery walls, next to the artwork, for all to see.  By the end of the exhibition the walls will be covered with visitor comments!

Everyone is a Critic 3 will be on display through Saturday, February 1, 2020.  The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum is FREE and open to the public.  Regular museum hours are: Tuesday, Thursday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; closed Sunday – Monday.
