“Thank you, Benjamin Netanyahu, for your steadfast support in bringing home all of the hostages,” Ernst said after her meeting in Netanyahu’s office, where she evidently traveled to make sure the ongoing Middle East war is still taking lves.
“Israel will always have a friend in America,” Ernst groveled. In response to the Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023, the U.S. provided substantial supplemental aid, including billions for military assistance, air defense support, and replenishing Israeli stockpiles, in addition to untold riches taxpayers bestow upon the Jewish nation every year.
“I met today in my office in Jerusalem with U.S. Senator Joni Ernst,” Netanyahu bragged after the meeting, clearly beaming with pride that he could beckon Ernst into his office like a lap dog – something pretty much no Iowa citizen could dream of.
“In the meeting, I emphasized that the Cabinet decision was unequivocal: The State of Israel will act with determination and force to return all of our hostages and defeat Hamas. I noted that these two missions are intertwined.”
